I have a pair of Maroon Clownfish which I've had for about a year and a half and today I noticed that the female's belly has gotten huge, like if she is going to POP and I don't know if it's because she eats like a pig or if it's because she's pregnant. I've never seen her belly this large, it's so big that I'm afraid of feeding her. Is there a way to tell if she's pregnant or not and if she were pregnant, how long before she lays eggs?

Thanks.

is she bitting the anemone host, if it is, is geting ready to lay eggs, they kind of clean the area first and then lay the egss

Gravid-holding eggs

My littlest maroon was caught nipping at my elgance coral the other evening? Is this a sign? The pair host to a small BTA and a large carpet. the smaller is 3" and jet black and the larger is bright orange/red and about 5 1/2". They have cleared away a huge nest under some rock work, not exactly near the anemones. The other night I saw a huge sheet of about 2,000 clear/white eggs along the glass of the tank, figured it was just snails...
