I have a fox coral that I would like to frag a piece of. What is the best way to do it. Just break the hard skeleton and cut the soft tissue? Or so I have to do something special?
Thanks,
Kevin

is it just one head? I preferably would wait until it grew more than one head and frag it that way. i'm not familliar with Euphyllia so i don't know what tearing the tissue might do. i'm sure someone on here will know

Actually the piece I am wanting to break off is about 3 inches long, about a third of the size of the whole piece. I am not sure what would be considered a head on a fox, there are probably 20-25 "mouths' on it. It lis one countinuous piece.
Thanks,
Kevin

i would break first and then use a sharp scalpel on tissue still attached

I will give it a try this weekend and see how it does.
