is getting a ro-di filter worth it? Is the Pure-Flo II RO Unit - 50 GPD TFC - 3 Canister a good one? http://www.aquariumguys.com/purefloii2.html

worth it? yes, absolutely

that is not a good deal IMO, ive seen 100gpd units on ebay cheaper than that

one example:

I DO have a clue about that seller - they are WONDERFUL to work with. I have had one of their units for over a year. They've helped out tremendously with problems I had with a Coralvue unit as well. Parts & filters are reasonable too. Needed a new membrane for my Coralvue - $35.

I got my five stage Ro system from WWW. airwaterice.com, very cheap prices and no leaks, good product.

A RO unit is one of the best investments you can make in this hobby, next to a refractometer IMO
