sorta looks like a bristle worm. In most cases they are very good detrivours. Some people like them some hate them. But they shouldnt cause any harm to any of you inhabitants. I tend to get rid of them when they get real big as they dont really look nice.

Can you see if you can get a clearer pic next time you see it? Can't really tell what is there. Maybe someone can else will be able to identify.

Definitely a bristle worm. As Viet-tin said, they are good detrivores, just not much to look at. Don't touch it either. The 'bristles' will stick in your fingers and cause them to swell and hurt. I eliminate them ( with tweezers) when they get bigger.

they are good when they are small but when they get bigger they start hunting for small fish and soft coral
