Im thinking about adding some micro blue leg hermits from Reftopia to one of my tanks, anyone have any experience with these guys, good, bad, ugly? Ive heard 'some' good reviews, just wanted to verify.

Just so you know, when they say "micro", they mean it. They are SPEC sized... We put a quick group order about 5 months ago that included these, and I coordinated it. I'd say I lost 30% of the hermits right away. The price is hard to beat, though.

I have had great success with them. Great hair algae eaters. They did a great jub on some sort of weird turf algae I had a year or so ago. Had it cleeaned up in a few weeks. Instar used them to help with a Bryopsis problem. They ate the roots of the bryopsis after he plucked the tops. Their good detritivores also. I looked on the Reeftopia site the other day and they were out of micros, but they had smalls.

Cool, will the smalls work as well as the micros?

Same, same. I think there is only something like .03 difference in the price.
