check out the reactors steve and i made today for his tank.

6" tubes @ 24" tall tubes didnt sound that big until we started assembling. :blink

they are for steve's tank (bigbird) i think it is a 125 gal.

Yea, I saw this design before, too. It was on another forum about a 1-1/2 yrs ago. Kinda why I wanted to have one. I wanted to know if I could build one and Ace volunteer his expertise to help me. I also have another design that we may incorporate into this one to make a different type that will be "OUR OWN" design. We will see how that goes later. We built this for my 135g but with the advantages of up-grading later. It will take 8 jugs of A.R.M. to fill that Bad Boy. I'm thinking about trying to use the Schuran media for this one. If you can find someone with it in stock, it's only a couple of $$ more than ARM and has been having great revues on RC. We'll see...

yes, the kalk reactor is your design matt, i didnt think you would mind me helping out a friend by building the best kalk reactor i could ;) thanks again for all of your help.
