cleaner shrimp

Has anyone had a cleaner shrimp eat or pick at a clam?? I woke up to my cleaner doing somethen to my clam I just got. I took it out and place it in my other tank. But wanted to see if any one else had this happen... thanks

Not so far... Clam is about 4 months old, there are 2 cleaners in the tank.

I skoot him off and he went right back and started picking at the lips part.

I have a Saron that does that from time to time. Just the mantle. I doubt it's a good thing.

My cleaner shrimp leaves my clam alone.

Did the clam close up? If not maybe he was cleaning the clam? I have had my clam for three years and he has been put in three different tanks with different cleaner shrimp in each tank and no problems.

the clam was a little open and he was going after the meat.. I dont know what he was doing to the clam it just worried me.
