I had to pull out all my rock to get a fish once. If you have access to plexiglass you could make a tank divider. Good luck

Try a 2 liter bottle and cut a flap door down the center and put food inside.

I like Ace's method. It just takes a few beers. Remove what is convenient from the tank. Then take your hand and try and touch the fish. Keep after it. Poke, prod, whatever. It WILL take an hour or 2 - but you won't tear up your tank (this is what the beer is for). Finally, the fish will get tired of the "game", and you may actually be able to pick it up. Certainly, a net works too.

The easiest way IMO is to just drain all the water, leave all the rock and coral like it us just drain the water into a trashcan or buckets and grab the fish when theres hardly any water left.

Good one.I think i will take a 2 liter bottle with food with a flap cut in the side set it inside the tank for bait. while I chase the fish around until it tires I will be draining the tank water so she will have no escape. muah ha ha ha!!!No seriously though thanks for the ideas I will try something. Now I have options.

I did the same with a two liter bottle, cut the bottom out then added food at the cap end and popped a class in there open end facing open end of bottle. Once the food started to escape the small area it had to the fish finally went into get the food and I netted the end of the bottle. Chase that trigger around for days before trying that method.
