View Full Version : Help! Anemone sting?

It appears that my longnose butterfly got stung by my buble tip anemone. It started going nuts! Almost into convultions and then just stopped moving around. Right now it is just leaning against the glass on a rock. Is there anything I can do or is it over? This all happened over a 10 minute span.

It will probably depend on how much surface area the anemone stung and how the buble tip stings. If it injects something, your butterfly may just be a goner. If it is and your anemone is big enough, feed it to the anemone.

Sorry for your loss... this is the first time I hear something like this....
My anemone is having problems ... but is she is gone... I won't buy another one again... <_<

I had a purple tang that got stung one time and he lived through it. But just recently I had a Copper Band get stung and he died. Maybe Butterfly's are more delicate?
