I saw quite a few black spots on one of my false percs today. They are all concentrated between its middle stripe and tail along the right side only. Its just a little patch of black specks. At first I got worried that it may be black ick, but its just the one area and the other fish doesn't have it yet. I wish I could get the fish to stay in one spot long enough to get a pic of it. If I can get a pic, I'll post it. Please let me know what you think.

i've got a french angel that had the same thing. Little black spot, then it got bigger and bigger and spreaded to my female perc some how. They both eat well so i thought it would be okay to keep in the tank, but the french angel started to bleed by the tail as if it was being eaten by the black glob. I fresh diped the clown for 8 min., but it didn't fall off. I tried to scrape it off with a cotton swab and it wouldn't come off. Now both are in a 22g tub w/ copper. Still eating and the results are looking a bit better. What might that be?
