Hey guys,

Well I finally got rid of my micro bubble problem. I upgraded my sump/fuge from 20 gallons to a whopping 40 gallons. It has a bubble tower section, skimmer section, then the fuge, following by another bubble area and a Drip Box so I can measure my effluent from my CR and then a return. I also managed to finish my custom top-off. Everything is hooked up to a 12A relay so I dont have to worry about any electrical surges cause by the switch. It powers a Hagen 802 Powerhead which delivers water to the sump. I also installed a lit switch and a red LED with lights up when the float switch is activated. Came out really sweet. Let me know what you guys you think. Ram

Thank you very much. You coming up for the collection trip. I'm pretty bummed because I'm not going to be able to make it. If there is something going on sunday I probably can. I'm going up to SA and Schliterbahn(sp*) with my family.

I dont think I will be able to make it. I have had other plans for a while. It sure seems like it was going to be very fun.

Very nice, I am thinking on removing my current refugium and wet/dry and doing something like yours. I just have a quick question, do you have any problems with sand moving?

Thanks,

nope. There is a 3.5" baffle that keeps the sand from being disturbed by the flow coming up from the skimmer section.
