Today I found my blue zoos shredded and my blue tang was picking at the remains as were some blue leg crabs. Who could have killed my zoos? I got them thursday. Some blues and some orange ones. They never fully opened. At the most I could see a crown of color peek out. I placed them on the bottom of the tank because I wanted to see the colors before I mounted them somewhere. Could they have died and the crabs and tang eaten them after they were dead? I have a few pieces I think are still intact and I moved them into my lighted refugium. I have lots of corals from sps to soft and I have never seen anything pick at them. The tank has 2 firefish, 2 clowns, 1 royal gramma, 1 blue tang, 1 yellow tang and a flame angel. Any ideas?

It seems that someone else had their zoos from that order die today. I think they must have died and the crabs began to eat them and the tang was sampling the left overs. He is an aggresive eater when it comes to his normal food and I think he would have just made the zoos disappear if he decided to eat them.

When my emp. angel ate some of my Zoo's he acted funny for a day. He hung out in a corner at the top of the tank for at least a day, like he was drunk or on drugs. Are any of your fish acting funny? The weird part is your crabs eating them?
