Ok i was freaked out durring regualr maintence of my tank, i just took out the filter tube out of the water, and while i was gone cleaning it in just a couple of seconds i heard this loud sound from the filter! i looked all around the tank and it was the wrasse! i was able to save him, his kind of curved with any bulgy but breathing! i put him in the quaratine.

my question is should i just flush him or let him try to recover? :cry :cry :cry :cry :cry :cry

What???
See if he recovers, if he is just suffering put him in a ziploc and put him in the freezer, that way he dies fast, not in the sewer

with water would be more humane IMO, because without water, the fish dies of suffocation bassically, but with his tank water in a bag, the water cools down, and shuts down his systems, and supposedly the fish dosent really feel anything... but who really knows...

I put him to rest with a little bit of his water.
