Any possibility on DE 14K bulbs. I'm running the Hamilton 14K DEs now and love them.

Troy,
Do you know where there is a spectrum on the 10K bulbs. I checked the Hamilton site and Sanjay's with no luck. All the Hamilton site said is that it has a 420 and 460 nm spike. I might be interested in getting in on this but would like to see the spectrum before jumping in.

Gary, i don't know of a place where they have a spectrum scale. i look and see what i can find. Sanjays was the best bet for that kinda stuff. but if he doesn't have it i'm not sure where to look.

Sanjay had the 14K but not the 10K Hamilton. Are these the German or American bulbs? I'm guessing, based on the price, that they are American.
I'm not so much interested in what the bulbs look like, but rather how much 420 nm light they produce. Hamilton says they have a 420 and 460 nm spike. That's kinda weird. Its usually one or the other. I'm guessing that one is going to be a lot bigger then the other. If the 420 is the bigger spike, I'm in.

i can't answer that. they don't say much about it. but these are the german made bulbs.
maybe you can call and ask them.

OK, I called Hamilton. They told me to go check Sanjay's site. I found this a little odd that they couldn't provide information on their own product and referred me to someone else. What makes this even odder is that Hamilton also makes spectrophotometers. Maybe its not the same Hamilton.
Anyway, I think I'm going to pass on this order. Sorry for the trouble.
