digital camera question

Does any one own a digital camera under $200.00 that takes great macro pics of your reef? If so what kind is it and where did you buy it? Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

check out the canon s2-is. its slightly above your price range but will make a world of difference ($299 but i see them on sale all of the time). i worked for canon for 3-4 years if you have specific questions about cameras let me know.

the service plan? yes, i do recommend them. there are lots of things that can go wrong with a camera.

memory card? you can typically find a 1gb card for a song and a dance, i think i only paid $60 for my 2 gb but thats a little overkill (i do use it as a thumbdrive too though)

for the s2 any AAs will work so yes i do recomend picking up a set of rechargeables
