They're pretty rare too, we have in the prop tank at FA, hes definetly a cool fish!

yea i saw it last friday. but it didn't look like this guy. and the mimics that i have seen online don't look like the ones in this picture.

Yeah, normally the mimics we get are smaller and are grey/black. I'm not sure if they change as they get older, but we have always called ours a chocolate tang...

They are quite variable but all the same species. It all depends on where they come from. Some mimic the lemonpeel angel (yellow ones which some turn darker "chocolate" while some not so much) others mimic the half black angel (black & white). They are the same species though. Yours is the nicest variant IMO. Wholesalers will usually sell them as chocolate tangs for a higher price than the more yellow ones which are usually listed as Lemon Mimic tangs.

well i'm looking for one... i don't know how well it will do with a yellow tang in a 150g.

Should do fine, ours is fairly timid, he never picks on anyone, it just depends on how mean your yellow is...
