Ok...looking at new lights for my 75 softie and LPS tank. Are these good or overkill/not enough?
8 X 39 watt T5 HO Retro Kit 3 Artinic aquablue and 4 10K sun bulbs. Each bulb has its own individual parabolic reflector. The reflector is made of german polished aluminum. Moonlights integrated with separate control system 5 - 1 watt LED's T5 lights with individual reflectors. Has 3 chords and 3 switches. Unit is 35'' long and 11.5'' wide and 1'' thick.
This is shorter than my tank (which is 48"). Should I just hold out for a 48" one? Since it is a retro kit, will I have to integrate it into a canopy, or can I use it on top of the tank until I get one? This light will cost me $180. Is it worth it?
