wierd white things...

hey guys,

I just noticed a bunch of wierd looking white "tubes" with what look kind of like bristles or some kind of spikes coming out of the end growing in my aquarium and they are spreading all over the place. Does anyone know what these things are? sorry i don't have a picture.

turns out they are scypha sponge. Thanks a lot for that link it really helped. It said that they were reef safe so i'm ok. thanks again. :)
