Is there special wire for high moisture applications?
I certainly am no electrician but it looks like the wires that are with the endcaps are special, maybe they just have a thicker casing.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I dont know of special wiring either. Like moneytank said, they do make water proof endcaps if your PC arent behind some sort of splash guard.

The endcaps are not a problem.
I just didn't know if they used a special wire for the heat and altogether harsh environment that the lights must operate in for a long time (compared to a regular fixture around the house). I dont think that it will matter, but just in case I thought it would be a good idea to ask.

Most of your wire today is rated at 90 c, with some of it rated at 105 c. If you look at the insulation of the wire you want to use it should contain the letter "W" in it example, THWN Weather Rated, Heat Rated Thermoplastic with a Nylon Cover.
