For some reason after being in the same place for almost a year this guy decided to pack it up and start moving around. He found the outlet of one of my sea swirls a nice home for the last few days.

Poor guy just keeps swimming back and forth with the swirl to keep up. Pretty hilarious to watch.

Ours at the store started moving around the tank after over a year in the same place. Turned out the spectrum was shot on the MH bulb. After we replaced the bulb they went back to their original spots and have stayed there ever since.
Hopefully you don't have any of rbta's most feared predators in your tank while he is on the move...unprotected powerheads.

Mine is roaming under my rock at night, when the lights come on he crawls back on top, i wish he would find a spot and stay there.

That's what it usually did during the time it was there. I'm actually trying to figure out how it missed my maxijet on the way up to that spot because it went right by the powerhead to get there. Maybe it just scooted around it.
Well the bulb on the other side of the tank was just put in about 2 months ago. The one on the side of the tank that it was on is probably around 5 to 6 months old now. Not that old though for a Hamilton 14K DE. I guess it'll eventually find a home again, just hoping it doesn't do any damage to any corals along the way.
