tank background options

I am considering tinting the back of my tank with a mirror finish. I really want to be able to see into the tank from the backside (my closet) at the same time blocking the view from the viewing side. Has anyone tried using window tint as a background? Pros...Cons...Any other suggestions?

I think Aquarium Sales & Service had some of their tanks done with window tint. Not a mirror finish but just a dark tint so from the front it looked like a black background.

I used the tint background for my tank. I picked it up at the local auto zone. I didn't get the mirror finish, I just got the darkest background I could find. It worked out great, as long as there aren't any lights on in the room behind the tank, you can't see through it. Just follow the directions and use a sqweege to get all the bubbles out.
