hello all,
i know its hard to id things without a photo but i'll try to describe it well. It looks like part of my live rock and is about the size of a shooter marbel but not round. it opens like a clam (sort of) and can move around, but chooses to stay in the same place all the time. when it opens the soft insides look like the underside of an urchin and pulsates similarly retracting and expanding. it seems to be able to open and close rapidly and although i cant see this happen it appears as if the creature inside the shell actually retracts into the rock behind it. please post if you know what this might be, im real curious.
