The nipple on the element of your Halide bulbs that is...

I think I rem. someone saying they were getting better color with the nipple pointed up...?

Yeah, on my DE's the instructions said to make sure the nip was pointing upwards

The only DE bulbs you have to worry about are the 150s and I didn't notice a difference in the color or light of my bulb whether it's nipple was erect or flacid. It all depends on how your instructed to insert the bulb as to where the nipple points.

Im using SE bulbs, so I can give it a little tweak and make the nipple stand up straight if I need to, or I can leave it alone and leave it in its normal position.
