make on out of a needle. I used to do that before I had a cast net to catch bait when I was a kid(oh wait still am) lol. Might work might not. There are threads on RC DIY forum about fish traps. HTH

I caught a PITA wrasse with a fly fishing hook and a Sponge Bob fishing reel. Worked great!!!!! ;) Their mouths heal up.

Ok, this might not be the best way :roll but my maroon clown is gong to be getting a boyfriend and I thought it was coming on Thursday. I had to catch her!
So, the sneaky big girl knows what a net is.. knows now what a bucket is that I put food in.. those tricks were not working this time. SO, after about three hours of tearing my tank APART... You know those big plastic 'things' that comforters come in? Well I put one of those in the tank behind a rock area that the fish uses to escape me, and walla.. took about 3 minutes.. she went in without realizing what was happening.
Worked great!

I had three damsels when I picked up my tank. Mean little devils. They would all three chase each other then if one was chasing another, the third would chase something else. Always chasing.
I happened to 'lose' one when I rearranged my rocks. I didn't exactly go looking for it either :D once it went missing.
Since then, my two damsels are pretty calm and follow each other around. Hoover in one area mostly around a big leather and protect it like its theirs. No major all out wars in the tank across the entire thing. Maybe you just need a girlfriend/boyfriend ? :D EDIT -- YOUR FISH NEEDS A GF OR BF :D
