Stained Glass

Does anyone in MAAST do stained glass? Know of some one who does? I need two panels about 12X24, with a marine theme.

john, it depends on how intricate you want. 12X24 is not too big, but the going rate is anywhere from $25/sq. ft. to $200/sq.ft.

do you have a specific design in mind? what are the panels for? do you need them framed in wood? if you want, PM me your phone # and ill give you a call when i get home from work to talk about it.

I also do stained glass and until I upgraded had 2 panels lit up by my fuge lights. Ive also made several angel fish shaped pieces (not framed) and a 14" round clownfish in anenome piece. To date Ive only made pieces for friends and family (or myself!) as gifts. If I were to do custom pieces they would go for the price range that hobo posted. Final cost all depends on the complexity, number of pieces, and to some degree the glass color/style used. For example the panels below had alot of tiny pieces and would be towards the upper end of the range(little fish eyes are not easy to make and/or fit!).
