Nevermind the neverminds. We don't got it yet. Robert (hammondegge) has been helping me get this thing set up on my tank and it's giving us fits. He designed and built a really nice acrylic sump and fuge so we could fit the Turboflotor 1000 Multi inside the sump, but we haven't been able to get it tuned.

Mostly it overflows...gallons of clear skimmate. Occasionally I'll get some light green watery skimmate. We're using the Ocean Runner pump and the pegs are wide open or out. We're using regular airline tubing to feed air to the pump. I guess our next step is to put a gate valve on the pump. It doesn't seem like that should be needed though since the Ocean Runner is the recommended pump for this skimmer.

Someone else suggested putting an air pump on the air supply tube. We messed with that briefly, but ended up leaving it off. Maybe we should revisit that idea...

Before anyone asks, I haven't added anything to the tank other than fish food, and when we set it up a week ago with the new sump, we had to add about 20 - 25 gallons of new salt water to fill the new sump/fuge.

Anybody successfully using a Turboflotor? I've read on wet web that they seem to like it, but admit it's hard to tune. We're open to all suggestions.

I use a really small pump to feed the water going into it. That seems to work pretty well. I also dont use the pegs at all.
