I've pulled about 10 tiny stars, but Susan, who works for me, noticed this bugger this morning. I put him in my fuge...

39 views and NO ONE knows? Sounds like he's going to get flushed...

Especially when I'm fighting a problem now... I'm now up to 11 tiny harpooned stars.

i just have this mental image of you dressed in steve erwin crock hunter getup, standing over your tank with a mini harpoon, narrating as you spear those poor defensless starfish

"this is a maile but lemme maike suere - aill steck my fenga up eets butte aan reaally pees eet off!"

Susan - who works for me - holds the flashlight in the morning as I harpoon them!

it doesn't look like asternia to me, which has a bad rep it doesn't deserve (yes some asternia kill coral, but many more asternia do not) this one seems to plumper and darker, and smoother than any asternia...

I say flush it if your unsure.

It's big - the size of a quarter. It's in my fuge. I've been fighting the Asternia after I found them remarkably close to a freshly eaten coral. I've removed 11 so far...

no clue here
I have never seen anything like it.
I do not remove things until I see them do something bad.

I do not remove things until I see them do something bad.I'm with Stevo.
If it's something I fear might do damage to the tank (but I'm not sure), it gets relegated to the sump. At that point I have lots of time to evaluate its safety.
