Just a note to our members. Recently MAAST has been attacked by one or more people that feel the need to spam by posting links to the RnR site and pose as BOD members posting RnR supportive topics.
These individuals appear to represent RnR, but in reality we have no idea if they are RnR members, irrate ex-MAAST members (banned), or just someone with A LOT of time on their hands.
These folks are creating new MAAST accounts that are intended to "look like" BOD members accounts. We have cleaned up posts and user accounts from "NaCl._.H2O", NaCl__H2O", "GaryP_", "greenmako_", and "Chris_".
Our new moderators and Admins are doing a great job to keep the distration to our members to a minimum. However, some of this "junk" will make it onto our forums and into your topics before we can get things cleaned up. Please do not hesitate to send a PM to a moderator if you notice malicious activity.
Unfortunately, these spammers do appear to represent RnR by "guilt by association", and this activity is likely to harm RnR far more than MAAST. If any of our members or RnR members have any insight into this activity, I am sure both clubs would greatly appreciate you encouraging them to cease before we need to pursue legal action towards these individuals.
