Koralith reactor media

For those of you who have a CA reactor and are not using this media you should start NOW. WOW!!! I noticed over 1 inch growth in 1 week on some of my acros that would grow 1 inch in 1 month. A little more than the ARM but worth the extra $$ IMO.

That test is a few years old and Korallith has since changed the formula.

Do you have a reactor? If not you should invest in one, IMO the single best part of my reef.

i do not. i am researching though for a system that should be up an running in May, and have been collecting gear. 180 reef + 55 propogation +60 seahorse +55 sump/fuge so somewhere around 350 gallons. i will want to include a reactor
any advise is welcomed.

That is going to be one LARGE system. Is it in the wall? What do you plan on doing with humidity/evaporation?

i am building a centrally located L shaped cabinet island that will support the reef and SH tank. it will be viewable from all sides. the rest will be underneath. the lights will be finished out above the tanks so i can vent all of the heat and most of the humidity out. i am trying to design it to be very compact and efficient.
and of course i will photograph the whole build. :roll i am just past the demolition stage right now. wacko
what would you suggest for a capable yet compact reactor system?

Korallin 4002. Rated for a 1600 gal tank. It is a 6 inch chamber that holds 10 kg of media. That should do it.
