Which one? "A" (bristle or fire worm) can be a little bit of a problem is they get really big, especially if you pick up a rock he is calling home and you get a few thousand spines in your hand. Usually they are just detritivoes and come out at night and clean up left over food and fish waste.

The feather dusters (B) and "C" (forgot what they are called) are just filter feeders and a sign of a healthy tank.

Does anything eat The small feather dusters? They are beginning to spread and I fear that in a couple months they will cover a lot of rock :(

i have heard that a raccoon bfly will, but the one i tried did not. i got rid of almost all of my mejano infestation (a few hundred) with joe's juice. i still have to juice one or two a month, but it really works well on those mejano's

sorry for the hijack jeremy!

sorry for the hijack jeremy!

I don't know that it was necessarily a hijack because his question was what are they and the inevitable question that follows is how to get rid of them :P and that's where I came in :D

i have the dusters in every tank and sump except the display with the coral beauty in it, i think she eats them. the only other grazers are the lawnmower blenny and yellow tang.
