The time has come for me to turn myself in and do the time. It is not like i get up in the morning with fantasies of dead macro algae. It just happens. I put new chaeto in my small, under-tank fuge and it just dissolves. I have a 65w daylight for 10+hours on an overnight cycle. Flow is probably a bit high as it really is a sump, ~350gph. The Fuge is empty but for fan worms, aiptasia, a mangrove, and sand bed. I do dose 2part directly into the fuge (could that be it)
Quesque c'est anyone?

Dosing directly into the fuge could very well be the problem. Shocking the Chaeto with extreme levels of alkalinity cant be good for it. Try dosing in a high flow area of the tank, slowly.

i dose mine in the spillover area of the sump/fuge heading to the return pumps - high flow and nothing but LR rubble and return pumps in the next chamber.
