How do you lower your pH level? My pH is a little to high. Please let me know.

What exactly are your levels, how are you testing and when?

its at 8.4 and im testing with a Saltwater Master Liquid test kit from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals. I test every week put I couldn't find any Fastest pH test packitts.

What time of day do you test, if youre testing towards the end of the lighting cycle, 8.4 isnt bad at all. What is it in the AM?

Are you dripping Kalk or a similar supplement?

If not, I would suggest your get your water re-tested with another kit. High pH is almost always a test kit problem unless there is an overdose of Kalk. The natural trend in a tank is for pH to be to low, not to high. Have you run your alkalinity too? I would be interested to see what that number is.

4.0 ALK, and Im at 8.4pH

Is that 4.0 DKH or 4.0 meq.? There is a big difference.

What are you using for supplements?
