What causes the red algae to form?I beliebve it is called cyano (sp?)? Thanks.
Sorry if this has already been asked but I didn't know how to spell the name so I couldn't perform a search. :P

Usually associated with excess detritus in a tank.

Its usually associated with excess detritus, low oxygen levels in the isolated areas it grows in, and low flow in those areas.
