Well, my clark clowns were picking on the other fish in my 75 gallon. So, after about an hour, some mild cussing, a wet shirt and raisin fingers, I removed them from the tank. I took them to the store to trade them, but had pangs of regret and decided to take them back home and set up the 10 gallon I had sitting around. I used some leftover crushed coral, some pieces of live rock from my 75 (I have over 130 lbs in there, so had some to spare :roll ), a large filter that takes up about 1/2 the tank length, and a couple of scoops of live sand. I also put one mushroom, one ricordia and a toadstool leather (I know he will get huge and I will have to move/propogate him, but the female clown showed some interest in him in the 75 gal). I filled it with water from the 75 (it needed a waterchange anyway). I may decide to move the leather back to the other tank and find an anemone to put in there with the clowns.
So now, I have yet another aquarium. That makes a total of 4 (10 gal fresh, 30 gal fresh, 10 gal salt, 75 gal salt). My husband said now there is something glowing in every corner of the family room! :lol
Anyway, I am actually enjoying the new little tank. I was wanting a clownfish and anemone set up, but didn't want to put an anemone in with my corals and slow moving mandarin. So, unexpectedly, I got my wish. :)
