My husband decided to take all of his leathers out of his main tank and put them in a nano. I wanted to post a pic and get some oppinions and suggestions on how to make it better :D

I think its off to a good start, leathers should do well in a tank with less light such as that one. I think you could maybe put a black background on the tank so that the filtration isn't visible; it also provides better contrast to see corals better. Also maybe a little more rock.
Otherwise I think it looks good, I'm glad you decided to go with sand. Unless you have monster flow and SPS, I prefer the look of a sandbed.

Two questions/suggestions.
1. Leathers have a tendecy to produce a lot of toxins. I would remove the eclipse filter and just run a bag of carbon in the tray to help minimize that.
2. Are you feeding the carnation? Its very nice but they do not have a very good survival rate without being dripped phyto almost constantly. That's difficult, and expensivve, to do unless you are growing your own green water.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Brian is running a skilter with carbon in it. Most of our corals we spot feed phytoplanton and zooplex, plus we are using the suppliments we bought at CB pets every 3 days. If there is anything else we should know or can do, please feel free to point it out.
