The boss (my wife) has officially approved me to move forward and setup my 125 gallon as a seahorse/pipefish tank. I simply just showed her the 300+ pictures I took at Seamonkeys (Jose) house this weekend and tada - she wants me to get going on it. Cool! No arguments and no discussion of the dollars required. Full Approval! It is all in the approach. LOL.

So I am considering starting a thread like Ram_Puppy and Qjuarez's thread during my planning and progress of this tank. I have the tank and some of the equipment however not all of it. Gonna start getting the rest of the stuff I require and try to get this tank going in the very near future. I am excited.

So Jose - looks like both Richard and I will be joining you in the seahorse/pipefish arena.

Let the games begin!

Michelle says "copycat!!!".

Jose - by far my favorite pipefish in your system were the alligator pipes. So after we left your house I told Michelle we should put some in her tank and she said "those were the only ones I didn't like, they looked scary" :roll. Oh well, it's her tank so I can't argue.

LOL. Actually I got 5 tanks running at my house right now.
1-135 FW Cichlid
1-125 FW Cichlid
1-75 SW Reef
1-20 SW Something
1-10 Phyto
And another 125 to come. SW-Seahorse/Pipefish

So I think we got a good battle going.......

So soggy toast at best. :o :P

1-10 Phyto

That's not a tank! :roll If it is do I get to count my pool with a broken pump that is pure green water? That's a 25000 gallon phyto tank. I even threw some koi and goldfish in it to eat the mosquitos LOL. Man, I gotta get that pool fixed some day.

Richard, Mark, & Jose,

Which species of pipe is supposed to eat red bugs? Do any of you have any info or experience with it? I know Scuba Steveo has one in his tank, but that's about it.

I have heard something like that. I want to say Dragon Pipefish but, I could be so wrong........
So if true, I will not be worrying so much about those pesky bugs in my seahorse tank.

Jose or Richard - Do you know if this is correct?
