Does anyone have a supplier in town for needle wheel fittings? I know USPS has them but, if I can save the wait time buy going local I will.

I heard you can make them from bio-balls couldn't find a link for them though!

1/4" MNPT x 1/4" MNPT PVC Needle Valve

I went ahead and ordered these from US Plastics. I got inpatient. But, I still would be interested in the information for the future. If I can get the same components locally that may be better of course depending on the price.

Never heard of a PVC needle valve; are you talking about miniature ball valves like what you would use to regulate flow into a calcium reactor? When you said needle wheel I thought you were looking for something to do with the needle wheel impeller pumps that they use on euroreefs and turbofloters.

Anyhow, two good places to order hard to find PVC fittings of all kinds are e-pipeconnection.com and mcmaster-carr. e-pipeconnection is great. There's one place in San Antonio, actually an irrigation supply place, that has some unusual stuff but e-pipe has everything and they're fast.

Matt,
Thanks for the information on the suppliers. I have attatched a pic of the needle valve. The info I posted above is the order info off the sight.

cute valves; they look like little gate valves.
