My poor Gimli fish

Well my lawnmower blenny Gimli died today. :( :( :( We really liked that guy. I think he's the coolest fish we've had. He just refused to eat anything but algae, and he ran out. We tried every last thing we could think of and he just sat and looked at us like we were nuts for trying to feed him. :( Poor fish. I miss him :(

I bought a Lawnmower in his honor today. The poor guy is so small he's being picked on by my psudochromis. He's pretty good at hiding in my rockwalls. We thought we lost him today, but after no lie, 4 hours of looking we finally found him in a crevice today.

If your new lawnmower doesn't eat anything but algae, you may be heading in the same direction. Lawnmower blennies can be picky, which most eventually starve, unless you can get them to eat other foods. Most that don't eat anything but algae need to be passed onto a person who has enough in their tank to keep them alive.
