Me personally I do not care for the bowfronts...as for negative comments I have heard a few myself, like the stands are hard to deal with.
My tank came from http://www.glasscages.com/
I am extremely happy with my tank...it is solid as a rock. For the price of that oceanic you could get a 240g from glasscages and still have money left over...even after shipping.

The main problem that I have with my bow-front is that there isnt enough room in the stand and I think they are too tall for their width. They are also pretty pricey.

Also the distortion from the bow. I really like the corner bowfront tanks though

yeah, they look pretty sharp, but building custom stands or canopies is a bit of a challenge, and the space left inside the stand would be a little hard to make use of.

I think there are several cool tank shapes you can go with besides getting a bow front, I have only seen a couple bow fronts and I did not like the area under them for equipment, just not enough.
Besides, for the price of a bowfront, you could move up in gallons to a 210 probably, and with your bio-load you NEED that space.

Oceanic makes a great aquarium. I am kind of with everybody else bowfronts look nice, but come with a hefty price. But of course probably not that more expensive per gallon then my 29 Starfire Glass made with 3/8" glass.

I recently bought a brand new 72gal bow RR /canopie/stand all from Oceanic about 3 months ago, Pricey yes, but after having 3 used tanks in my life, i was ready to start new and somewhat different from my friends tank.
I cant be any more happier with it, you dont notice distortion unless you look at the sides, and its not even that bad. But i also am doing FW so i dont have a skimmer to add, but the stand fit a Tidepool2 very nicely under it

A while back (year or two ago) they had lots of leaking 72 bowfronts. I was told it was one new guy not building them correctly and the problem was resolved.
The problem was isolated to the 72 bowfronts.
