I need to know if anyone has a receipe for a small batch of red bug dip say about a 5 gal bucket so I can dip any new corals I get before I put them in my tank. I have seen threads in the past on whole systems but I just want to make a small amount for dipping corals Thanks Barry

Do you use the whole pill? Or just part of it , or does it matter for dipping purposes and not treating the whole tank?

I saw that >_< but when you treat a whole tank you put alittle in also depends on total gallons. Alittle to one person may be alot to another, I would like to know exact amount ,or here from anyone who has made a batch themselves. Brian if you have done this about how much is "a little"Thanks Barry

For five gallons of water I used roughly 1/8 of a pill. This is way overdosing but will do the trick. Do you have corals with red bugs or are you just being cautious with new frags?

I bought a package of the Interceptor Green (Dog 11-25) which are much smaller & cheaper. I use one of these in 3-5g for new SPS. I think Todd posted once that the Interceptor treatment was tested at 20x the recommended dose with no ill effects on the corals. I haven't had any problems using this strength for dipping new corals. FWIW!
