I am looking for a pulley kit to hold up a 6ft retrofit kit that contains 3-400 w MH and 2-165VHOs. I want to be able to have easy access to the tank. Does anyone know where I can get one?

I remember awhile back someone was using a pulley kit made for hanging a bike from the ceiling. Thought it was from Target, but can't remember for sure.

i never could find anything suitable at HomeDepot. I did find some really nice 2" block and tackle arrangements at neighborhood ACE Hdwe down the street from me, but i was on my way to the sailing/sailboat store.

If I were buying, I'd buy from West Marine - it's more expensive, but Harken nylon roller bearing blocks are going to last much longer than these from HD. I'll go down now and take a pic.

Here are a couple of photos.
Basically, there's a single block at one end, and a double at the other. The plastic coated wire is run thru them. Then he had it bundled up and attached to a line (rope) that runs thru another block, and then to a ratcheting, locking block.

Here's another photo, partially installed. There's some tweaking to do with this - I'm pretty sure I can improve on this - ya know, the sailor in me!
