I see that the topic is TBD. What about a frag swap?
* EDIT: Hope you don't mind me throwing an idea out there. :) *

Maybe we'll just add those to the frag swap. Then, on second thought, maybe not.

If I can make it, this will be my first MAAST meeting. How long do the meetings usually last?

How long do the meetings usually last?
From my experiences the meeitngs usually last between an hour or two. I have never been to a meeting at a members house before so it may be different this time. Either way they seem to go by fairly quick.

Ace,
Just bring the family to the meeting. We'll have them ready to remodel the house and drop in a 240 gal. by the end of the meeting. If seeing your tank won't do the trick, Brian's tank should give them the little nudge they need.

Well this will be my first meeting. Anything I should bring? Does it normally start at the time stated?
Great topic for me. After about two weeks, I figured out the cool stuff growing was bubble algae :D LOL.. I was so excited that something was growing and then to find out it was something that you don't want to grow. My brother is going to tag along as well with me I think (he has quite a few tanks). Hope to meet some people. My tank is pretty much empty, so friends who have frags that I can purchase in the near future would be great :D

This is a great meeting to attend, problem algae is something that even the most experienced reefers battle. Great raffle items, and awesome tanks to look at! :)

Do we need to RSVP? I'm going to try to come, but don't know what the wife has planned for the day. If I can talk her into it, she may come with me, too. What about kids? I have a 7 year old who might want to come. (He loves this stuff! Wish his mom would too.)

Guess who got stuck on duty the day of the meeting? One of the biggest things I hate about being in the military is that you can't make plans! Oh well, at least I can use the computer while being on duty here :)

Big thanks to Christina & Brian for hosting the February Meeting at their beautiful home. You have outstanding tanks. Much appreciated on all the preparation also Roy. Gary, as usual, another great talk about algaes. Always a subject that we ALL experience at one time or always! Great turnout - always great to see everyone. Especially some Austin people. Thanks again Brian & Christina. :)

The animals will probably end up wearing any jewelry she buys. The cat would look cute with a tiara.
