I picked up a few couple comb and moon jellies before from the Gulf and threw them in my tank to find them get caught and eaten by stuff. Check this site out, I guess this may be a new trend starting up, or atleast I've never seen this type of jellyfish keeping equipment for hobbyists.

Wow, that's kinda neat, although expensive. At the Waikiki aquarium they have a really cool jellyfish display that is in a room and the jellies are under UV lighting.

I've seen a jelly fish display at the Texas State Aquarium, in Corpus, and I think the comb jellies drew the most attention with their luminescent looking hairs.

What is the lifespan on captive jelly fish? I could have sworn that their lifespans were really short. If in fact their lifespan is short, wouldn't this make keeeping jelly fish extremely expensive (RE: livestock replacement)?

I dont think they are as cool as a full blown reef.. They only glow..and?...LOL..I personally like corals better than fish, so, there's no way id sacrifice a coral for a jellie..Just my humble opinion..
