what type of kalkreactors are you running?Im going to buy one here real quick just wanted some feedback on what works well.im thinking Geo or something like that.i dont really like the stirr bar type.what do yall think.

Im running a DIY unit built by,,,,,, ME! lol, works very well on my system. How many gallons is your system?

thats great.I wanted to build my own,but by the time i got the materials i would have totaled about what it cost to get a new one already built.plus i need one like ...yesterday!

oh yea my system is 50 gallons right now, but will soon but more than 100g.

Hammond, I used my own top secret design.... If I told ya, Id have ta...... lol. Jorge, it cost me around $25 in materials and maybe 6 hours of time to construct. I was selling them here on maast for $65 a while back.

ahh yea, i remember i was thinking about buying it.some one else was selling a geo reactor on this site not too long ago.Im wondering why they sold it was it no working for them or what.

I think they went to a calcium reactor and thats why they sold the kalk reactor.

I'm about to make a kalk reactor; I have tube for 2 of them so I could make a 2nd one more or less at the same time. Mine are big; 18" tall 6"diameter cast acrylic tube chamber with a little box underneath, the mixing pump is a little pan world. Total height is about 23". Send me a PM if you're interested; I'm not sure of the price but probably more than the geo reactor. Jim's are very reasonable and lots of people have used them with no complaints I've ever heard. If you want to have a look at one I made I think it's at Fin-addict; I know he just bought it from another MAAST member.

thanks matt,but i went ahead and ordered the geo.now i have to wait 2-3 weeks to get the **** thing cuz there made to order.we'll see how that works out.
