Hi all,
I'm asking for some help from somebody that has weld-on. One of my cats knocked my brand new overflow box over and the in tank box broke off from the out of tank box. I don't believe the break was critical to the way the overflow works and can be repaired and the overflow work like new.

I just need somebody with weld-on to glue it for me or where can I get some weld-on and can I get a little mentoring...?

Regal or Allied plastics. They both sell weld on. Both are on the NE side of town off of Ritterman Rd

that was not glued very well. Doen't look like much was holding it together. I would think that it needed a little more help in that area. I would talk to Pete if you want someone to do it for you. At least give you some input on making it a little stronger.

I bought it this weekend from CB Pets. I think that Dan? might have made it but that guess is due to something I saw on here maast. I'll shoot Pete an email when I get some weld-on and time.

. . . but the break is not on a previously glued seam, it's on a solid piece of plastic (that cracked).

Once you re-weldon the box, it should be fine. You could get a 1/8" piece of acrylic and glue it over the cracked portion for extra strength, but probably not necessary.

You are correct, that is a Dan's Aquaplex creation.

Thanks Andrew. Yeah I didn't think it was a structural problem. It's just that my cat is retarted and has to push everything over and then stand on it like he's king of the world or something.

Thanks all for the replies.

I didn't say there was a structural problem it just looked to me like the glue did hold I have seen those overflows before and I know that they are good.

Sorry, dwdenny. I didn't mean for my reply to sound callous. I didn't have much time earlier today and wrote it in haste - it's revised (:

Mabey he's jealous . . . and wonders if he's less important (to you) now than the tank stuff??? :lol
