Hey Brian, I'm not sure if it's just the pic, buy your OBT polyps should be blue too.

Not sure where you have it in the tank.

:) There's only one OBT out there. I think your's is a "true" try more light.

I have another color of Hokei you might want. :)

Todd your OBT is a nice sized one. Where in your tank do you have it placed? I know you are running 10K reeflux but what wattage and any actinic?

Brian yours is the real deal for sure. Came from Yikan who got it directly from ReefStuff @ Oregon. Polyps on both of my colonies are brownish also. I think Todd must be running weak lights or something. ^_^

BTW Brian your corals are doing awesome. I would love to come see the tank in person.

Mine is about 21" under the surface getting hit with 10kk reeflux and 10kk XM and Actinic.

But still had the same color when it was just being hit with a 10kk XM only.

They "like" lower flow, but high light.

The one you two have looks real to me, but the polyps should turn blue....for sure. If it doesn't then Yikan got hosed. :) Remember I moved here from Oregon. ;)

No Jerry, mine is the Oregon Blue Tort. But, I do have a Cali tort also. :)

I think Clint and Brian's (same lineage) are OBT also, but, if they really are, they should be able to get the polyps blue. ;)

IMO Brian has better coloration overall in his tank than I do, so it's probably lighting placement.

Well thats what I had in mind, but then you mentioned that theirs was the Real one. SO you had me confused there so I had to ask.
