Troy, personally I think this crosses the line, in regards to our local sponsors.

I know it's a gray area between on line retailers and whole salers. I have nothing against ordering like this if you have the contacts, but wouldn't necessarily put it up for MAAST and post prices on our site.

Probably good for you and some friends to do quietly off the forums.

Todd, what exactly do you have against people getting a good deal? Also what does it matter if he posts prices on "our" site? If LFS can't handle the competition of 1 person online with a 1 time order. I don't want to do business with that LFS anyway. There is someone always getting thier panties in a wad because they feel you should have to pay full retail for everything. I would be praising Troy for his willingness to pass the savings onto us. Troy, go ahead and post prices if you wish. The group order forum is exactly that - Group Orders by & for members. If profit isn't being made, and business interests aren't being built - then it is simply a benefit to our members, which is a "Good Thing". These Group Orders are a PITA for the organizer and are greatly appreciated by the members that benefit!

That said, this is a bit of a touchy subject at times and we do try to keep members collaborating for a purchase seperate from retailer's or wholesaler's themselves - thats what the Retailer's Corner is meant to handle.

Why don't you just get back on track with the original order date you set of the 15th. That date will work for me and I'm sure everyone went in to this thinking that was when things were going to get ordered. That would give everyone time to figured out who could drive where and arrange everything to make this order happen. Personally, I want to see this happen cause I'm going to pay about 1/4 of what it would normally cost to get the fish I want that no one ever has.
