Purple Macroalgae?

for us, one of the grooviest things about buying frags, live rock, anything like that.. are the "stowaways" (as we like to call them) that sometimes suddenly appear on your new frag one day.. for example.. this nifty bit of algae here.. just started growing on the frag a few weeks after we bought it.. its grown about 1.5 inches in the last month.. the zoanthid frag was nice enough in and of itself.. but the "stowaway" just makes it that much nicer eh?

that does look like a cool macro. you may be able to ID it on algaebase.com, but be prepared to look through alot of pictures!
