I am installing the ro/di filter via plumbing in a bathroom. What is the best way to deal with the waste water? The bathroom and filter are located in the center of the house so I don't have easy access to the outside.

They make whats called a "saddle connector", It wraps around the drain from your sink and you install the waste line in it.

or drill through an exterior wall, and run it outside into a holding container for your plants( if your into plants too)

Can I find this saddle connector at Lowes or do I need to go to a plumbing shop?

Vic318, the saddle valve that you listed was the water supply valve.

The valve for the drain you are looking for is this type.

If you want there is a really cool attachment that you can use to hook the RO/DI straight up to your faucet. You just connect it when you want it and disconnect when you're done. This way you don't have to fool with any plumbing. Talk to Alex at Wolf Reef about it. He told me about it and I thought it was a good option.
