Simple question here are they open on Saturdays? I will be up there on the 27th for S.A.L.E. Banquet and will be running around on Saturday and was hoping to go by and get some weldon #4 and 16 and possibly some scrap pieces.

yeah I have checked out Tap but I wanted some scrap pieces to play with plus I think I need a full sheet of 1/4" and little more to build my sump. I need to call them tomorrow and see if they have tubing as well so that I can build my skimmer. Plus I will be there so I can go by and save a little on shipping as well.

Better call them to make sure. I have gone up there on Saturdays and sometimes they are open and other times the place is locked up tight.

I would call to be sure. Last time I was there, the sign out front did not say anything about being open on Saturdays.

I can tell you a full sheet of 1/4 acrylic cost me 80 bucks just before Xmas. I gave them my measurements and they cut it for me no charge. Their cuts were much straighter than mine could be. Almost finished my sump/refugium and it looks good.

They are closed on Saturdays. I think I can get up there on the 27th before 5:00pm. Just called and it will cost me 90.12 cut at the size I want. 26"X15"X15" I should have asked how much the weldon costs oh well will make another call later thanks to toll free numbers. Can you apply the #4 with a syringe with like a 12 gauge needle or do you need the applicator. I have tons of syringes with needles from working with livestock in general.

The weldon 4 came with an applicator when I bought it. You might buy some 16 too.

I am I was just seeing if it can be done. But it is comes with an applicator that is great.

The applicators are not that expensive. $3 or so. They also have syringes there too for Weld-On. I picked up one of those up for $3. I would use the syringe to apply the initial pass of the Weld-On. Its a lot easier to control than the squeeze applicators. For the insuing passes after, I would use the standard applicator since it will go fairly quick (not needing to worry if enough got in the joint or not). Then at the end do a pass with the #16 like laying a bead of caulk down and your done.

ok my brain has been turned back on. :P I bought a sheet of 1/4 acrylic for 80.00 at allied plastic. They are the ones that cut it for me for free. Also, they are open on Saturdays.

I will have to give them a call and see what it will cost there. I know all the pieces are just a little over a full sheet I think. Thanks again DT

I get Regal confused with the other place there off of IH35. Unless they just change hours, Regal is not open on Saturday. Better call ahead.
